Terms of Use
Last updated: September 15, 2026.
Purpose of the service
ConvertAudio lets users extract and convert the audio track from video files they select. The tool runs locally in the browser. It is not a downloader for video platforms and does not provide access to third-party hosted content.
Permitted use
You must use only your own files, public-domain files or files for which you have sufficient authorization. You may not use the service to infringe copyright, privacy or other third-party rights, or to process illegal content.
Responsibility for files
You decide which files to process and are responsible for confirming your right to use them. ConvertAudio does not receive or review their content because conversion occurs on your device.
Availability and compatibility
The service is provided without a guarantee of compatibility with every file, codec, browser or device. Large videos may require substantial memory and processing time. Keep a copy of the original file.
Intellectual property
The ConvertAudio brand, design and original content do not grant rights over files processed by users. Third-party libraries are used under their respective licenses, listed in the corresponding notice.
Changes to the service
We may update the tool, these terms or feature availability to improve security, compatibility or regulatory compliance. The updated date shows when this document was revised.
